Former NBA star forward Jamal Crawford voices his concern about basketball media, highlighting a perceived lack of professionalism in judgment.

He notes that, unlike other fields, basketball allows non-professionals to critique professionals, leading to widespread acceptance of opinions as authoritative. Crawford finds this aspect perplexing within the realm of basketball.

“My problem is basketball is one of the only sports, or only things, where you don’t have to be a professional to judge professionals and get people looking at it like you’re the gospel, and it’s crazy to me,” Crawford said.
