The Denver Nuggets star guard Jamal Murray is confident in the prowess of himself and big man Nikola Jokic, asserting that they form the top duo in the NBA.
Despite the attention drawn by pairs like LeBron James and Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, and Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, Murray believes their chemistry and effectiveness on the court place him and Jokic at the forefront.
According to Murray, their ability to work together and support one another in achieving success solidifies their position as the premier duo in the league.
“I think we’re the best duo. I think they’re in a bigger market and people have more interest in LeBron and AD in LA, or what Dame and Giannis could be, or what Luka and Kyrie could do,” Murray said.
“If we’re talking about the best duos in getting the job done and how they play for each other and with each other, I think me and Jokic are undoubtedly number one.”
