Torrey Craig explains failed self alley-oop vs. Knicks: I wanted to create some excitement

Chicago Bulls veteran Torrey Craig broke down his bizarre failed self alley-oop while trailing by nine points in the second quarter following last night’s 128-117 home loss vs. the New York Knicks (Andre Drummond jumped for the ball at the same time as Craig).

(via Optimistic Bulls Fan):

“Just got a fast break, wanted to create some excitement, try to give us an edge, try to create some momentum for us. Obviously didn’t know Drumm was gonna jump after it with me, so it was a miscommunication or misinterpretation or whatever. But at the end of the day, I just gotta dunk the ball, lay it up. So, I’ll take the blame on that.”
