Booker and Durant combine for 72 points as Suns dominate Cavaliers

Devin Booker and Kevin Durant combined for 72 points to lead the Phoenix Suns (45-31) to a commanding 122-101 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers (46-31) on Wednesday night.

Booker continued his stellar form, following up his 52-point performance against New Orleans with another impressive outing, pouring in 40 points on 13-of-25 shooting from the field, including 5-of-9 from beyond the arc. Durant added 32 points along with seven assists.

Royce O’Neale contributed 17 points, while Bol Bol provided a valuable spark off the bench with 15 points.

Despite a strong performance from Donovan Mitchell, who finished with 24 points for the Cavaliers, Cleveland struggled to contain the Suns. Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley each chipped in with 20 points.

The Suns asserted their authority early, racing to a commanding 72-47 lead by halftime, fueled by a barrage of 3-pointers.

With the win, the Suns strengthen their position in the playoff race, currently sitting at the No. 6 spot in the Western Conference standings.
