Despite Jaylen Brown’s late go-ahead shot for the Celtics, Murray’s clutch basket over Jrue Holiday sealed the victory for the Hawks.
Atlanta’s victory comes amid a surge in form, with the team winning its fourth consecutive game to bolster its playoff aspirations.
Bogdan Bogdanovic contributed 24 points, while De’Andre Hunter added 21 points and 13 rebounds to support Murray’s stellar performance.
In contrast, Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 31 points and 13 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the defeat. He received support from White, who recorded 22 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Kristaps Porzingis added 20 and seven rebounds, while Brown contributed 18 points.
With the win, Atlanta maintains its position in the Eastern Conference play-in tournament, enhancing its chances of securing a postseason berth. Boston, meanwhile, remains atop the Eastern Conference standings.
