Anthony Davis’ parents asked Shaq to push their son

In a thrilling showdown against the Milwaukee Bucks, Anthony Davis showcased his dominance, leading the Los Angeles Lakers to a crucial double-overtime victory.

Davis’ outstanding performance, including 34 points and 23 rebounds, earned praise from NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.

Shaq revealed that during the Play-In Tournament, O’Neal had a conversation with Davis’ parents, who expressed their desire for O’Neal to keep pushing their son.

“He knows how I feel about him… His mother and father came up to me and said, ‘We want you to stay on our boy,’ because, I know what he’s capable of,” O’Neal said on NBA TV.

This season Davis is averaging 24.7 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.4 blocks in 35.9 minutes per game.
