Doncic and Irving combine for 52 points as Mavericks rout Kings

Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving combined for 52 points to propel the Dallas Mavericks (43-29) to a dominant win against the Sacramento Kings (42-30).

Doncic led the charge with 28 points, adding 11 rebounds, six assists, and three steals. Irving contributed 24 points and eight assists, while Tim Hardaway Jr. provided valuable support off the bench with 22 points and six assists.

P.J. Washington chipped in with a double-double, tallying 14 points and a season-high 13 rebounds for the Mavericks.

Despite De’Aaron Fox’s 18 points for the Kings, Sacramento struggled to find offensive rhythm, shooting just 38.9% from the field. Keegan Murray added 17 points.

Domantas Sabonis nearly notched a triple-double with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists, extending his impressive streak of consecutive double-doubles to 55 games.

A decisive 22-4 run in the third quarter propelled the Mavericks to an insurmountable lead, extending their advantage to 24 points.

With their fifth consecutive victory, the Mavericks move into sixth place in the Western Conference standings, edging ahead of the Kings.
