Heat rout Cavaliers by 37 points with balanced team effort

The Miami Heat (39-32) thrashed the Cleveland Cavaliers (43-28) 121-84 on Sunday night, led by a strong performance from their bench players. Miami’s reserves, spearheaded by Haywood Highsmith’s 18 points, delivered a 59-point contribution.

Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo also played pivotal roles, with Adebayo recording a double-double of 15 points and 16 rebounds, while Butler added 15 points to the scoreboard.

The Heat’s commanding victory was a much-needed rebound after suffering a 23-point loss to the New Orleans Pelicans just two days prior.

Despite missing key players, including Tyler Herro and Kevin Love, Miami dominated both offensively and defensively.

Cleveland, on the other hand, struggled to find its rhythm, with only Evan Mobley reaching double figures in scoring with 15 points.

The Cavaliers, who were without key players Donovan Mitchell, Max Strus, and Dean Wade, faced an uphill battle against Miami.

With this win, Miami solidifies its position in the Eastern Conference standings, maintaining its seventh-place ranking alongside the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Cavaliers remain third in the East with the New York Knicks trailing just half-game behind.
