Jordan Poole: Everything I’ve done has essentially worked

Despite this, Poole remains unfazed, understanding that social media platforms often amplify outrage. He chooses not to pay attention to the negativity, recognizing the tendency for social media to distort reality.

“I get what it’s for, but you can be overwhelmed with that stuff,” he said. “I can’t do anything about it, right? Just live with it. That’s our generation’s challenge.”

Despite the criticism, Poole is not oblivious to the opinions others hold about him. His inaugural season with the Washington Wizards has been challenging, falling short of both his and others’ expectations on the court. Nonetheless, Poole’s self-assurance remains steadfast, as highlighted by Weitzman.

“Everything that I’ve done [in my career] has essentially worked,” Poole said of the outside criticism. “So there’s no need to change anything. Just find ways to get a little bit better, wherever I can.”
