Squatters occupy mansion near LeBron James’ Beverly Hills residence

Beverly Grove Place, an upscale neighborhood neighboring Beverly Hills, has historically been a sought-after location for celebrities and affluent individuals.

Recent developments, such as LeBron James’ extravagant new home and Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s multi-million dollar compound purchase, have solidified its reputation as an exclusive area.

However, the community was rattled by reports of squatters residing just blocks away from James’ future residence at 1316 Beverly Grove Place, between October 2023 and February 2024.

Contrary to the stereotype of struggling locals unable to afford the city’s high rents, these individuals were not in dire financial straits seeking shelter.

Instead, these were opportunistic individuals taking advantage of the situation, posing as wealthy socialites and organizing lavish parties while occupying a neglected mansion.
