RJ Barrett, a player for the Toronto Raptors, is mourning the loss of his brother Nathan. The sad news was confirmed by Chris Stewart, Nathan’s former coach in youth basketball. Stewart emphasized Nathan’s significant influence on the team and how cherished he was by all who knew him.
“Nathan was only with us for a short time in grade 7 before he moved to Florida but whenever he was back in Mississauga the boys connected,” Stewart said.
“No parent should ever have to bury a child, hug your kids today a little longer. You will be missed Nathan, RIP ❤️🏀🙏🕊️”
