Bridges, Micic propel Hornets to win over Grizzlies

Miles Bridges and Vasilije Micic combined for 52 points to lead the Charlotte Hornets (17-49) to a convincing 110-98 win over the Memphis Grizzlies (23-44) on Wednesday night.

Bridges led the scoring charge with 27 points, while Micic delivered a career-best performance with 25 points, shooting an impressive 90% from the field and sinking 5 of 6 from beyond the arc.

Grant Williams also made a significant contribution, adding 18 points, with 15 of them coming in a dominant fourth-quarter display where he converted all five of his shots.

GG Jackson led the Grizzlies’ scoring efforts with 26 points, while Luke Kennard contributed 17 points, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Hornets’ offensive firepower.

Despite attempts by Memphis to narrow the deficit, the Hornets responded decisively, thwarting any potential comeback efforts from the Grizzlies.
