Myles Turner guides Pacers to win over Thunder

Myles Turner delivered a commanding performance as the Indiana Pacers (37-29) secured a pivotal 121-111 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder (45-20) on Tuesday night.

Turner’s 24-point outing, combined with contributions from Tyrese Haliburton (18 points, 12 assists) and Pascal Siakam (18 points, 11 rebounds), propelled the Pacers to a crucial victory, snapping Oklahoma City’s three-game win streak.

Aaron Nesmith added 15 points, while Andrew Nembhard contributed 14 as the whole Indiana’s starting five scored in double digits.

Despite a strong effort from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who posted a double-double with 30 points and 10 rebounds, and contributions from Lu Dort (18 points) and Chet Holmgren (15 points, 13 rebounds), the Thunder faltered against a determined Pacers squad determined to secure the win.

Indiana’s commanding lead in the first half was met with a spirited comeback effort from the Thunder, who narrowed the gap and briefly took the lead in the third quarter before the Pacers regained control and surged ahead heading into the final period.

In the closing minutes of the game, the Pacers maintained their composure and capitalized on key opportunities, with Andrew Nembhard’s clutch free throws sealing the victory and thwarting any hopes of a late Thunder rally.
