Zion Williamson leads Pelicans past depleted 76ers

Zion Williamson’s dominant performance guided the New Orleans Pelicans (38-25) to a hard-fought 103-95 victory over the injury-plagued Philadelphia 76ers (35-28).

Despite the Pelicans’ commanding advantage, the resilient 76ers launched a spirited fourth-quarter comeback, trimming a 35-point deficit to just five points in the closing moments.

Williamson delivered a standout performance with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Naji Marshall contributed significantly with 19 points off the bench. Brandon Ingram added 17 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

For the depleted 76ers, Tobias Harris led the charge with 21 points and 10 rebounds, displaying resilience despite missing key players. Kelly Oubre Jr. added 20 points and seven rebounds. Paul Reed added a double-double off the bench with 17 points and 11 rebounds.

The absence of injured stars Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey loomed large for the struggling Sixers.
