Milwaukee Bucks’ wing, Khris Middleton, sidelined since February 6 due to an ankle injury, recently addressed reporters for the first time about his condition.

Middleton described this particular ankle sprain as one of the most painful he has experienced, emphasizing his discomfort.

Despite attempting to play through the initial injury, Middleton found no relief and eventually had to cease playing. Recounting the incident, he mentioned attempting to continue after the injury occurred but had to stop when the swelling intensified upon removing his shoe.

Middleton acknowledged that the recovery process has been lengthier than anticipated but expressed optimism about the improvements he has seen.

While he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of joining Milwaukee’s road trip concluding on March 12 against Sacramento, the main obstacle hindering his return is lingering swelling.

Recognizing the urgency to return to his usual form, Middleton, who started the season with a minutes restriction and has played only three games under Doc Rivers, emphasized his eagerness to get back on the court.

With just 19 regular-season games remaining, Middleton, averaging 14.8 points this season, is determined to overcome the obstacles and resume playing.
