In a candid discussion on The OGs with Udonis Haslem & Mike Miller Presented by Playmaker HQ, former NBA player Udonis Haslem shared insights, stating that Chris Bosh was more crucial to the Miami Heat’s success during the Big-3 era than LeBron James.
Haslem emphasized Bosh’s invaluable contributions to the team, highlighting his versatility and impact beyond traditional statistics.
While LeBron James often garnered the spotlight, Haslem underscored Bosh’s role as the linchpin of the Heat’s formidable lineup, citing his irreplaceable presence on both ends of the court.
“Everybody think that our most important player was Bron. Our most important player, not our best player was CB [Chris Bosh],” Haslem said. “Because if Bron went down you could bring in D-Wade and it’s not the same player but you’re gonna get similar results. We couldn’t simulate it we didn’t have another CB. If that went down and got hurt we didn’t have another one of those.”
Miller echoed Haslem’s sentiments, praising Bosh’s evolution under coach Erik Spoelstra’s system, particularly his ability to stretch the floor with his three-point shooting.
“The way Spo [Erik Spoelstra] started using him too, made him impossible to guard. He was shooting threes. That man was cold brother!” he said.
