Paolo Banchero scored game-high 22 points as the surging Orlando Magic (36-26) defeated the Charlotte Hornets 101-89, extending their winning streak to nine in 11 games.
Cole Anthony’s 14 points, including 12 in the second half, were instrumental in securing the win for the Magic.
Wendell Carter Jr. added 12 points and nine rebounds, while four of Orlando’s reserves scored in double digits – Anthony, Moritz Wagner, Jonathan Isaac and Anthony Black.
Vasilije Micic’s career-high 21 points for Charlotte wasn’t enough to offset Orlando’s balanced scoring attack. Tre Mann and Brandon Miller provided support each scoring 18 points.
