Rashid Byrd sentenced to 90 years in prison for multiple sexual assaults

A former NBA prospect and actor in “Semi-Pro” has been found guilty of a series of violent sexual assaults dating back to 2015. Rashid Byrd, 42, has been sentenced to 90 years to life in prison following his arrest in 2020 by the Los Angeles Police Department.

The investigation revealed a pattern of violent sexual assaults occurring in Los Angeles and Santa Clara Counties between 2015 and 2020. Byrd had been held in custody since his arrest on September 18, 2020, with a bail set at $4,150,000, until his recent conviction.
