Johnson, Schroder lead Nets to rout over Hawks

The Brooklyn Nets (23-36) secured a commanding 124-97 victory over the Atlanta Hawks (26-33).

Cam Johnson and Dennis Schroder spearheaded the Nets’ offensive onslaught, with Johnson delivering a season-high 29 points, including seven three-pointers, and Schroder contributing 23 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists.

The Nets’ depth was evident throughout the game, with Mikal Bridges (15 points), Day’Ron Sharpe (12 points), and Lonnie Walker IV (11 points) providing crucial contributions on both ends of the floor.

Despite missing Trae Young, the Hawks fought valiantly behind Dejounte Murray’s 28-point effort, but couldn’t overcome Brooklyn’s dominant performance.

Jalen Johnson added 14 points, while DeAndre Hunter and Kobe Bufkin each contributed 12 points off the bench.
