Jamal Murray drops 32 points as Nuggets dominate Kings

Jamal Murray led the charge with 32 points, guiding the Denver Nuggets (40-19) to a resounding 117-96 victory over the short-handed Sacramento Kings (33-25) on Wednesday night.

Nikola Jokic recorded 14 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists in just three quarters, notching his fourth consecutive triple-double.

Sacramento’s hopes were further dashed with the absence of guard De’Aaron Fox due to a left knee contusion, leaving the Kings shorthanded against a relentless Nuggets squad.

Despite a valiant effort from Domantas Sabonis and Keegan Murray, who combined for 34 points, the Kings faltered against Denver’s stifling defense, failing to contain the Nuggets’ offensive onslaught. Chris Duarte had a standout game with 18 points off the bench.

With key contributions from Aaron Gordon (17 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists), Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (16 points), and Michael Porter Jr. (14 points), the Nuggets maintained their pursuit of the Western Conference’s top seed.
