Amidst his visit to Australia, former NBA star Scottie Pippen reiterated his belief that his ex-teammate Michael Jordan stands as the greatest player in basketball history, despite their complicated relationship.
During an appearance on Today, Pippen expressed unequivocal praise for Jordan, emphasizing his unprecedented achievements and impact on the sport.
“Oh, for sure,” Pippen replied when asked if Jordan was the greatest player ever. “I mean, look at the MVPs that he was able to achieve. But I think it was all brought from us being successful as a team. Obviously, someone is going to bring those accolades home. But yeah, he was the greatest player definitely in basketball.”
