Franz Wagner leads Magic to dominant win over Nets

Franz Wagner led the Orlando Magic (33-26) to a resounding 108-81 victory over the Brooklyn Nets (22-36) on Tuesday night.

Despite missing their star player, Paolo Banchero, the Magic dominated the game, with Wagner stepping up with a 21-point performance.

His brother Moritz Wagner contributed 16 points and Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony added 12 points each to secure the emphatic win.

Dennis Schroder led the Nets with 15 points, while Trendon Watford chipped in with 14 points and seven rebounds, but their efforts were not enough to overcome the Magic’s dominant performance.

Brooklyn’s scoring leader Mikal Bridges struggled offensively, tallying just four points in his lowest-scoring game of the season, shooting 2 for 14 from the field and missing all seven of his 3-point attempts.

With injuries impacting both teams, the Nets were without guards Cam Thomas and Ben Simmons, further complicating their efforts to secure a win on the road.
