Thunder thrash Wizards in dominant victory

The Oklahoma City Thunder (39-17) delivered a stunning 147-106 blowout win over the struggling Washington Wizards (9-47) on Friday night.

Led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 30-point performance, the Thunder dominated from start to finish. Chet Holmgren provided valuable support with 25 points and 10 rebounds, contributing to Oklahoma City’s highest point total of the season.

Jordan Poole and Corey Kispert led the Wizards’ scoring efforts with 21 and 20 points, respectively, but their contributions were not enough to overcome Oklahoma City’s relentless attack. Washington’s scoring leader Kyle Kuzma finished the game with 14 points.

The victory propelled the Thunder into a tie for the top spot in the Western Conference standings alongside the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Washington, meanwhile, suffered its 10th consecutive defeat, struggling to contain Oklahoma City’s offensive onslaught throughout the game.
