Steph Curry drops 32 points as Warriors dominate Lakers

Stephen Curry led the Golden State Warriors (28-26) to a resounding 128-110 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers (30-27), dropping game-high 32 points.

Curry’s hot shooting, including six 3-pointers, and eight assists proved instrumental in the Warriors’ victory as they returned from the All-Star break with renewed vigor. The first half belonged to Curry, who ignited the Warriors’ offense with 25 points by halftime.

Despite a strong performance from Lakers’ stars Anthony Davis (27 points, 15 rebounds) and D’Angelo Russell (18 points, nine assists), the absence of LeBron James due to a left ankle injury proved costly for Los Angeles.

The Lakers’ loss snapped their three-game winning streak and marked a significant turnaround from their previous meeting, where they narrowly edged out the Warriors in double overtime.

Golden State’s depth was evident as Andrew Wiggins and Jonathan Kuminga contributed 20 and 12 points, respectively, complementing Curry’s stellar performance.
