In an unusual display of openness, Kawhi Leonard, typically known for his reserved demeanor, made a bold statement during the NBA All-Star Weekend press conference.
When questioned about the number of points he could score in a high school game today, the Los Angeles Clippers star asserted confidently, “Uh, I could easily give it 70.”
Yet, he promptly tempered his statement with a touch of humor, acknowledging his ineligibility to play in high school and jokingly suggesting, “Let’s get some, uh, what do you call these? Birth certificates.”
