During the game between UCLA and Utah on Sunday, UCLA’s Sebastian Mack received a flagrant 2 foul and was ejected.

The incident occurred when the freshman guard raised his arm while Utah’s Branden Carlson was setting a screen near mid-court in the first half.

Carlson remained on the court holding his throat, receiving attention from a trainer, before eventually walking off to the locker room.

UCLA coach Mick Cronin commented after the game that he had not seen a replay of the incident involving Sebastian Mack’s flagrant-2 foul.

However, he mentioned it as one of the “dumb fouls” committed by the Bruins during the game, which ended in a 70-69 loss, snapping their six-game winning streak.

“The reason we were winning was we stopped doing dumb stuff – dumb fouls, in particular, and they were back tonight,” Cronin said.
