According to Marcus Morris’ former teammate Patrick Beverley, Morris is strongly considering joining the Minnesota Timberwolves for the remainder of this season. Morris was part of a three-team trade at the deadline, moving to the San Antonio Spurs while Buddy Hield went to the Philadelphia 76ers from the Indiana Pacers.

Although Morris is expected to negotiate a buyout with the Spurs, no agreement has been finalized yet. Once the buyout is settled, Morris will be eligible to join the Timberwolves.

Currently leading the Western Conference, Minnesota has strengthened its bench by acquiring Monte Morris at the deadline. The addition of Marcus Morris would provide the team with added depth as they aim for a successful playoff run.
