The Philadelphia 76ers are reportedly planning to aggressively pursue Paul George in free agency if he does not sign an extension with the Los Angeles Clippers, according to Chris Haynes.

While discussions between George and the Clippers have taken place, it is widely expected that a deal will be eventually reached. George has been putting up solid numbers, averaging 22.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in 33.8 minutes across 47 games this season.

George had previously signed a four-year, $176 million extension with the Clippers in 2020, including a player option for the 2024-25 season.
