Kristaps Porzingis leads Celtics to win over Hawks

Kristaps Porzingis scored game-high 31 points as the Boston Celtics (39-12) secured a hard-fought 125-117 win over the Atlanta Hawks (22-29) on Wednesday night.

Derrick White also made a significant impact for the Celtics, scoring 12 of his 21 points in the crucial fourth quarter to help seal the victory against the Hawks.

Jayson Tatum contributed a solid all-around performance with 20 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists, while Al Horford and Jaylen Brown added valuable contributions with 14 and 15 points, respectively.

Despite a spirited effort from the Hawks, led by Saddiq Bey’s 25 points and Trae Young’s double-double of 20 points and 10 assists, Atlanta ultimately fell short against the Celtics’ relentless offensive attack.

Onyeka Okongwu (19 points, 10 rebounds) and Jalen Johnson (19 points, 15 rebounds) each contributed a double-double for the Hawks.

While the Hawks managed to stay competitive throughout the game, they struggled to contain the Celtics’ offensive firepower, particularly in the fourth quarter when Boston surged ahead.

Despite a late rally from the Hawks to narrow the deficit, the Celtics’ resilient performance proved too much for Atlanta to overcome in the closing stages of the game.
