John Salley: “We’re Americans, we feel safer with guns”

During a recent conversation with DJ Vlad, John Salley, a four-time NBA champion, candidly expressed his views on possessing a firearm while playing for the Detroit Pistons.

His insights shed light on a solid stance regarding individual safety and the prevalent gun culture in America. Salley further emphasized the cultural dimension, stating:

“When I was in Detroit, I always had a gun. Even though I was with my brothers and we had security, I always carried my gun.

“So, for some people, we’re Americans, we feel safer with guns… This is the culture – People feel safer with guns.”
