The Brooklyn Nets are facing mounting trade interest in Mikal Bridges as the February 8 deadline approaches, but they remain resolute in retaining their prized player amidst overtures from the Houston Rockets and New Orleans Pelicans.

According to a report by Marc Stein on Substack, the Nets have reiterated their stance that they will not entertain offers for Bridges, despite persistent inquiries from teams like the Rockets and Pelicans. Brooklyn is determined to retain Bridges, signaling their commitment to his integral role within the team.

Bridges, 27, has emerged as a key cornerstone for the Nets since joining the team from the Phoenix Suns last season as part of the Kevin Durant trade.

Under his current contract, Bridges is slated to remain with the Nets for the next two years, with a total value of $91 million.

Throughout the current NBA season, Bridges is averaging an impressive 21.7 points, 5 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game
