Curry and Kuminga propel Warriors past Nets

Stephen Curry and Jonathan Kuminga led the Golden State Warriors (22-25) to a gritty 109-98 victory over the Brooklyn Nets (20-29).

Despite a sluggish start, Curry’s 29 points and Kuminga’s 28-point performance spurred the Warriors to a comeback win.

Curry’s made all four of the Warriors’ 3-pointers in the game. Meanwhile, Kuminga’s all-around effort, including 10 rebounds, proved instrumental in securing the win.

Despite a valiant effort from Cam Thomas, who scored 18 points for the Nets, Brooklyn struggled to find its rhythm offensively. Poor shooting nights from key players Mikal Bridges and Spencer Dinwiddie hindered the Nets’ offensive production.

Nic Claxton provided a spark for the Nets with 15 points and a career-high seven blocked shots but was ejected in the fourth quarter for a flagrant foul.

The Nets missed the presence of Ben Simmons, who sat out the game as part of a back-to-back schedule.
