Rockets have an interest in Robert Williams

The Houston Rockets have reportedly shown interest in acquiring Portland Trail Blazers big man Robert Williams III. Despite Williams being sidelined for the season due to right knee surgery, teams have expressed interest in trading for him.

Rockets coach Ime Udoka, who shares a history with Williams from their time together with the Boston Celtics, is reportedly fond of the player. Houston is actively seeking frontcourt reinforcements to complement breakout center Alperen Sengun.

Williams, with two years and $25.7 million remaining on his deal through 2025-26, is expected to make a full recovery for the next season.
