The Golden State Warriors suffered a double-overtime loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night, and both coach Steve Kerr and star guard Stephen Curry expressed their concerns about the officiating influencing the outcome.

Kerr, alluding to the significant free throw disparity, chose not to elaborate fully due to his mother’s presence, while Curry highlighted the inconsistencies in calls favoring the Lakers compared to the Warriors.

Kerr specifically mentioned the Lakers’ 43 free throws compared to the Warriors’ 16 and noted Curry’s three free throws in 43 minutes of play.

“I might comment on the free throws, but my mom is here, so I want to be on my best behavior,” Kerr said.

“So, I’m not going to comment on their 43 free throws to our 16. I’m not going to comment on Steph shooting three free throws in 43 minutes.”
