Kawhi Leonard guides Clippers to dominant victory over Celtics

Kawhi Leonard led the Los Angeles Clippers (30-14) to a resounding 115-96 win over the Boston Celtics (35-11), avenging an earlier embarrassing defeat on their home court.

Leonard scored 26 points in just 29 minutes, contributing to the Clippers’ fifth consecutive victory and a crucial turnaround from their prior 37-point home loss to the Celtics in December. Paul George added 17 points for the Clippers and Daniel Theis scored 18 points off the bench.

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 21 points, but the team struggled collectively, shooting just 35% from the field and 25% from beyond the arc.

Boston was without Kristaps Porzingis, who was sidelined with a sprained left ankle.
