Tyrese Haliburton is experiencing a positive turn in his week. After being named an All-Star starter for the first time, Haliburton seems to be making progress with a hamstring strain that has been bothering him for several weeks.

Pacers coach Rick Carlisle provided an encouraging update on the star guard’s injury status ahead of their game against the Phoenix Suns on Friday.

Carlisle mentioned, “He’s doing better. Hopefully, we’re getting closer to him playing. He’s starting to ramp up his workouts, so we’ll see where we are in the next couple of days.”

Haliburton initially strained his hamstring on January 8 against the Boston Celtics, and after returning briefly on January 19, he has since missed the team’s last four games, showing visible signs of being hampered by the injury.
