Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra expressed humility and acknowledged a challenging defeat as the Boston Celtics (35-10) delivered a remarkable 143-110 rout on the road, leaving a historic mark against the struggling Heat (24-21).

The Celtics’ offensive prowess reached new heights, scoring 143 points, the highest ever against Miami, and securing a 33-point margin.

Despite efforts from Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro, who managed 19 points each, and Jimmy Butler’s 17 points, the Heat couldn’t halt Boston’s relentless onslaught.

Newcomer Terry Rozier, acquired via trade from the Charlotte Hornets, had a challenging night, scoring seven points on 3-for-10 shooting in his second game for Miami.

Reflecting on the defeat, Spoelstra acknowledged, “It was a humbling night, that’s for sure. They put us in our place tonight,” as reported by Anthony Chiang.

This lopsided loss poses a challenge for the Heat as they grapple with a five-game losing streak.
