Nets may send Ben Simmons to G League for practice

The Brooklyn Nets star guard Ben Simmons, who has been sidelined since November 6 due to recurring back issues, is nearing a return to the team, with Jacque Vaughn hinting at using the Long Island Nets for practice before his comeback.

“At some point I think we’ll use Long Island, hopefully, to get a practice underneath him or get some more bodies around him. Hopefully that’s in the near future,” Vaughn said.
