Victor Wembanyama, the rookie center for the San Antonio Spurs, has been under a minutes restriction due to a series of right ankle sprains suffered in December. Additionally, he has been rested for one game in each back-to-back set.

Although head coach Gregg Popovich mentioned that Wembanyama will continue to adhere to the current limit of 27 minutes per game at least until Monday, he suggested that there might be a reconsideration after the conclusion of San Antonio’s road trip, as reported by Andrew Lopez of ESPN. The Spurs are scheduled to face the Thunder on Wednesday.
