LeBron James, Anthony Davis lead Lakers to victory over Thunder

Anthony Davis notched 27 points and 15 rebounds, complemented by LeBron James’ 25-point contribution, guiding the Los Angeles Lakers (20-21) to a 112-105 win against the Oklahoma City Thunder (27-12) on Monday night.

D’Angelo Russell added 14 points and seven assists as the Lakers secured their sixth victory in 18 games, breaking the Thunder’s four-game winning streak and asserting dominance with two wins in their recent matchups.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander exhibited resilience, scoring 24 points while battling a right knee sprain for the Thunder, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Lakers’ defensive prowess.

Jalen Williams contributed 25 points, but the tandem of Chet Holmgren and Josh Giddey struggled offensively, combining for 17 points.

With Cam Reddish sidelined due to knee swelling, the Lakers adjusted their lineup, with Russell and Austin Reaves combining for a starting backcourt.
