Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga, a rising talent, is reportedly growing frustrated with the utilization of his skills by head coach Steve Kerr.

According to reports from Anthony Slater and Shams Charania of The Athletic, Kuminga, after sitting out the final 18 minutes in a recent loss to the Denver Nuggets, has “lost faith” in Kerr, questioning whether he will be allowed to reach his full potential.

Kuminga, the 2021 lottery pick, expressed his frustration, stating, “Sometimes, I come out the game not knowing what I did.” This adds another layer of complexity to the Warriors’ challenging season.

The frustration peaked for Kuminga during Thursday night’s game, where he showcased his skills with 16 points, four rebounds, and four assists in just 19 minutes on the court. Despite his impactful performance, Kuminga found himself benched for the crucial final minutes of the game, leading to his disillusionment with Kerr’s coaching decisions.

Kuminga, who averages 12.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 22.1 minutes per game this season, expressed confusion about his role and contributions, stating, “What they want me to do?”
