Previously undefeated in Euroleague TAU Ceramica hosted the visitors from Italy Lottomatica Roma. Italian side made a strong start and controled the first quarter. 20-12 for the visitors after 10 minutes of play Primoz Brezec being the main star on the court.
The game was tight till the end. Will McDonald made a spectacular block which helped to turn his team on for the final run. Mirza Teletovic made an off-balance shot in the fourth quarter to keep his team in the game. Hosts had the chance to seal the win but missed their three-pointers in the final seconds.
Lottomatica had other plans for the night and played smarter than their opponents. Sani Becirovic had 23 points for the second game in a row and helped his team defeat group leaders. American high school sensation Brandon Jennings finishe the game with 13 points in 17 minutes.
Igor Rakocevic was the top scorer for TAU Ceramica once again with 23 points, Will McDonald added 16 and 8 rebounds.
