CSKA Moscow stay perfect with a win over Efes Pilsen

CSKA MoscowDefending champions faced only one serious resistance this season so far. Real Madrid were close to a win against CSKA Moscow but Messina's team came on top. Turkish side Efes Pilsen were hoping to make an upset record the first loss th Russian giants but it proved to be a mission impossible.

CSKA were seriously determined right from the start as they finished the first quarter with a massive 18 points lead (27-8). And although the visitors managed to equalize the game on the court in the second period the gap actually increased to 20 points at the half time.

Efes Pilsen lost the third quarter by seven points which made the final quarter just a formality which eventually led to CSKA's victory 90-68.

Euroleague champs were very good from three-point zone making 18 out of 25 shots (72%). CSKA new man Terence Morris and Trajan Langdon had 5/7 while Ramunas Siskauskas was perfect hitting all four of his shots from beyond the arc.

Milos Vujanic didn't find his place on the court and finished the game with just 4 points. Ex-Real Madrid player Charles Smith had 22 points and was the leader of the team.
