In a Christmas Day showdown, the Boston Celtics (23-6) secured a 126-115 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers (16-15).
LeBron James contributed 16 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists in a 37-minute effort during the game.
However, a moment of concern arose when James, along with Jaylen Brown, was involved in a collision during the second quarter. Fortunately, both players were able to continue playing.
James provided an update on his knee injury, stating, “It’s still here. My knee is still a little sore right now. The best thing is finally the schedule is kind of in our favor with two days off before we got to play again.
“Just a freak play right there between me and Jaylen Brown. I’m happy I was able to walk on my own power, but definitely a little sore right now.”
