James Harden on Thunder: “It reminds me of when I was here”

In a nostalgic moment, James Harden, now with the Los Angeles Clippers, shared his reflections on facing his former team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, stating, “It reminds me of when I was here, the beginning of the Thunder Up days.”

The Thunder, in the midst of a rebuilding process, have emerged as a competitive force in the Western Conference, currently holding the second position with an impressive record of 18 wins and 8 losses.

The young Thunder squad showcased their progress by securing a victory over the Clippers, a team featuring several former Thunder players, including Harden and Russell Westbrook.

Despite Harden’s team-high 23 points, the Thunder prevailed, highlighting their growth and determination.

Speaking about the Thunder’s resurgence, Harden expressed admiration for the team’s journey, stating, “It’s beautiful. It’s been a long time as far as the rebuilding process, but I think it’s exciting, and these fans deserve some good basketball.”

As the Thunder continue to climb the ranks in the Western Conference, the echoes of their early success, reminiscent of the “Thunder Up” era, resonate not only with current players but also with those who were part of the franchise’s formative years.
