Domantas Sabonis leads Kings past short-handed Suns

Domantas Sabonis orchestrated his fourth triple-double of the season, amassing 28 points, 12 assists, and 11 rebounds to propel the Sacramento Kings (17-10) to a convincing 120-105 victory over the short-handed Phoenix Suns (14-14) on Friday night.

The Sacramento Kings, now on a six out of eight wins streak, showcased their dominance with an outstanding third quarter, making their first 11 shots, and De’Aaron Fox breaking the franchise assists record on Harrison Barnes’ shot, finishing with 23 points and seven assists.

Despite Kevin Durant’s 28 points for the Suns, the short-handed Phoenix team, missing key players Bradley Beal (ankle), Josh Okogie (hip strain), and Jusuf Nurkic (personal reasons), struggled to counter the Kings’ balanced attack.

Devin Booker contributed 24 points and seven assists for the Suns, but technical fouls issued to Durant, Booker, and coach Frank Vogel in the first half highlighted the intensity of the matchup.
