Lietuvos Rytas finished US tour of European clubs with a loss agains Golden State Warriors. Lithuanian vice champions gave a good challenge for the NBA team. Second quarter was won by Warriors by 18 points and secured them a safe advantage till the end of the game.
It was the first ever game against NBA team for Lietuvos Rytas. Last year another team, Zalgiris, from Lithuania made history by playing against Warriors, Wizards and Raptors.
Rytas made a 15-2 run in the third quarter but Warriors responded as Stephen Jackson scored 16 points. Chuck Eidson led Lithuanian side with 28 points.
Lietuvos Rytas will return home and continue their season.
