Nikola Jokic guides Nuggets to win over Nets with historic triple-double

Nikola Jokic etched his name in NBA history, securing at least 10 triple-doubles in seven straight seasons, as the Denver Nuggets (17-9) dominated the Brooklyn Nets (13-11) with a 124-101 victory, marking their third consecutive win.

Jokic’s stellar performance included 26 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists, showcasing his versatility and leadership.

Jamal Murray’s return to the lineup after missing the previous game added depth to the Nuggets, contributing 16 points. Peyton Watson also played a crucial role, adding 18 points for the defending champions.

Spencer Dinwiddie led the Nets with 17 points, and Cam Thomas contributed 13, but the team struggled against a well-rested and prepared Nuggets squad.

The absence of Dennis Smith Jr., recovering from an upper-back injury, further challenged the Nets in the second of back-to-back road games.
