Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce expressed that the Phoenix Suns may not necessarily require a traditional point guard.

“[The Suns] don’t need a real point guard.”

Kevin Garnett countered, suggesting that they might need one, but he emphasized the importance of acknowledging Devin Booker’s contributions.

“They do… But let’s give Devin Booker his flowers.”

Paul Pierce advocated for recognizing Booker’s excellence and suggested that it’s high time to include him in discussions about the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.

“It’s time to start getting him in the MVP talks.”
