Warriors secure victory over Clippers with Klay Thompson’s fourth-quarter heroics

In a reminiscent display of his scoring prowess, Klay Thompson ignited a fourth-quarter surge, scoring 10 straight points, leading the Golden State Warriors (9-10) to a hard-fought 120-114 victory against the Los Angeles Clippers (8-10) on Thursday night.

Despite missing key players due to injuries, including Andrew Wiggins, Chris Paul and Gary Payton II, the undermanned Warriors leaned on Thompson’s vintage performance and Stephen Curry’s 26 points to secure the win.

Golden State established control early in the game, leading by as many as 18 points in the first half. Despite a late surge from Paul George and the Clippers, Thompson’s heroics in the fourth quarter, combined with Curry’s consistent scoring, allowed the Warriors to maintain their lead and secure the win.

Kawhi Leonard led the scoring for the Clippers with 23 points and seven rebounds, while James Harden contributed 18 points and seven assists. Paul George added 15 points and 10 assists in a well-fought contest between the California rivals.
